| Of course, I just bought several other lights before I saw these! While they don't lend themselves to the full spherical output needed for many applications, this is a great light for down-facing bulbs, reading lamps, etc. They won't do as well in a horizontal or angled fixture - so I'm not too upset. Advantage: they're using PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) so you don't get "friodes" when there are fluctuations in the current: the current stays constant to the LEDs. The downside? Just like any LED bulb, it will depend on how robust the power supply is. See some examples on http://www.dabblings.net
