This piece measures 1 1/2” x 1” excluding the gold plated bail. The base glass for this piece is sky blue iridescent tested compatible glass, layered with dichroic glass in cobalt blue and silver. The piece is topped with clear glass to give it depth and protect the dichroic coating. Three layers of glass and three kiln firings make this a very durable piece. After the third firing a 22K Gold decal is applied and the piece goes back in the kiln. It is slowly brought up to 1150 degrees, this makes the Gold permanent.

This pendant is hand crafted one at a time in my home studio. It is difficult to capture the true beauty of Dichroic Glass in photos. Trust me, if you think it looks beautiful here, you will be thrilled to see it in person.
