Etsy :: Tranquility DIchroic Pendant

This piece measures 1” x 1 1/8” excluding the gold plated bail. The base glass for this piece is rainbow iridescent tested compatible glass, layered with dichroic glass called Spirit. There are colors of blue and silver. The piece is topped with clear glass to give it depth and protect the dichroic coating. A 22K Gold Chinese symbol for tranquility is layered on top and loaded back into the kiln to become a permanent part of the piece. Three layers of glass and three kiln firings make this a very durable piece.

This pendant is hand crafted one at a time in my home studio. It is difficult to capture the true beauty of Dichroic Glass in photos. Trust me, if you think it looks beautiful here, you will be thrilled to see it in person.
