This may be THE everyday bag for me. It's durable, classically shaped, ergonomic, and seems to be able to carry my laptop, lunch, and travel doodads. I may have to do an extra special favor for Santa to insure this bag is under my tree this year. added on 2008-08-21

The rest of the world was introduced to this on Boing Boing recently. I'm late to the party. This is the cleverist, quirkiest, must-have scarf I've ever seen. Talk about a social ice-breaker. That scarf would have people lined up to get a peek. added on 2008-06-20

The notion that I could take this kit with me on a hike and finally have a proper reason to break the seal on my watercolor moleskine sketchbook makes finding this almost serendipitous. added on 2008-04-22

A few months of amateur watercoloring doesn't make me eligible for a schmancy brush washer. The fact that one exists at all is a sign that the art supply industry is intent on keeping artists starving. Perhaps I'll be worthy of this $160 indulgence after watercolor something larger than stationary. added on 2008-03-30

Just the gadget I need to make me a runner. I have avoided buying the Nike+ iPod Sport Kit (includes a sensor that fits inside of a special Nike shoe that uses a transmitter to track your running stats and communicate them to you WHILE YOU RUN on your iPod nano) because the sensor is only meant to work in a Nike PLUS shoe and I do not wear Nike running shoes. However, it seems plenty of folks have hacked their kits and rigged them to work with any shoe. One of those hacks involves this handy sensor holder. An easy solution to make myor buy. Now.... I just have to upgrade my shuffle to a nano. added on 2007-09-10

This is the most amazing shoe I've ever seen. It's a pump with an adjustable heel that stows away, instantly turning the shoe into a flat. At$300 a pop (a price I've never paid for a pair of shoes), I had just enough sticker shock not to snatch them up right away. There's a boutique in my area that sells them (besides the manufacterer's website), so I'll surely be stopping there one day soon to try them on. Check out the video on tthe product site to see the heels transform! added on 2007-07-23

Yes, it's got a gorgeous shape and daring color...two facts that put it in my top ten pieces of furniture (wait -- I don't have such a list), but what made this thing wist-able was its wheels. Not only could I sit by the window and read a book in this baby, I can glide over to my desk and surf the net. Function, form, fun....and, unfortunately, friggin expensive. The sale price is $1,000. That's Herman Miller prices. I'd rather spend that on a real HM -- at least with chair my ass (and not just my eyes and brain) is guaranteed to behappy. added on 2007-03-17
