Early 20th c. three-quarter-length kimono. Rust and scarlet red, black, white, green, grey & yellow. Floral print with large medallions. The bold pattern brings to mind a Celia Birtwell textile, though the robe obviously predates the designer's work. Fabric is a heavy silk or rayon jacquard, figured in a Japanese "rolling-waves" design. Fully-lined in a crosshatch-printed pink chintz.size : sm/med price : $72
