A well designed machine is also a work of art and sometimes the workplace itself that produces these machines can becomes a gallery that can present it&#039;s works of art in a better way than any other environment.

This assembly line conveyor belt does not look like it could possibly be the real thing but rather an abstraction of a process for design or advertising purposes.

In reality though this was found, or rather stolen art that was hidden in a corner and not at all obvious to the naked eye. A glittering river of D70 innards in an ultra clean environment.

All the Nikon Digital SLR cameras (and most Nikkor DX lenses) except the highest end Nikon D3 model are currently manufactured in Thailand. It makes sense that these high priced cameras and lenses are among the first luxury items to see a slow down in sales, during a world wide financial crisis, but please make a few Nikon purchases for the upcoming holiday season (from a link on this website if possible) and save somebody at Nikon Thailand their job.

We are in a boat cruising what during the dry season are the streets of the fishing village of Kompong Klaeng.

The kids are as thrilled to see us as we are to see them, until the annual &amp;#x201c;tide&amp;#x201d; recedes (in another three or four months), they will probably not see any dry land and will have to make do with the confines of their house and boats like the one they are standing in.]]></content:encoded>
