Crown Promenade Hotel Melbourne

Hotel Chatter had a nice write-up of the Crowne Promenade, a 481 room boutique hotel in Melbourne's Southbank neighborhood. Quite large by boutique standards, the hotel does offer seemingly infinite perks in a well-designed environment: wifi, flatscreen tvs, Playstations 1 and 2. The rooms come in small, medium and large but the smallest boasts 34 sq. meters of "stylishly appointed space." There's a pool, a restaurant (a sleek place called Mesh) and a lobby, where, apparently, dudes sit around blowing bubbles. Corner rooms start at US$199. This hotel might be ideal for the business traveler.
