A hand made, hammered, 18k yellow gold chain supports a sliding pendant. The pendant is an ancient Roman coin, bezel set in 18k yellow gold with a hammered finish. The coin depicts the detailed profile of Tarkondimitos and was hand struck in 39BC. He was hailed dynast by Pompey and crowned king of Cilicia, by Marc Antony. It is slightly larger than a nickle. He died in the battle at Actium where Cleopatra and Marc Antony were defeated by Augustus Caesar.
