Wuhan University

Wuhan University, founded in 1893, is one of China's oldest and most prestigious universities. Located in Wuchang, Hubei, China, Wuhan is a member of the 211 Project and 985 Project initiatives, government programs offering support to the country's most elite universities. Wuhan University is a large, comprehensive research university, best known for its science and liberal arts programs. In all, WHU offers 111 bachelor's degrees, 296 master's programs, 208 doctoral degree programs, and 32 post-doctoral research programs. More than 53,000 students attend WHU, including 32,000 are undergraduates, 18,000 graduate students, and 2,300 are international students.
