2 cups rolled oats (i always use these ones from a local farm called loonsong gardens. the oats are fabulous, as are their flours. and heather and paul rock too.)
1/2 cup raw almonds, chopped
1/2 cup raw sunflower seeds
1/4 cup raw sesame seeds
1/4 cup chia seeds
1/4 cup ground flax seeds
2 tbsp maca powder
1/4 cup sunflower oil
1/4 cup raw agave nectar
1/2 cup dried cranberries (i used local ones that are sweetened with apple juice)
mix all the dry ingredients in a big bowl. drizzle over the oil and agave and mix well so that everything is coated and looking shiny & pretty. spread out on a baking sheet (i lined mine with a silpat to make for easier clean up) and bake it in the oven for 15-20 minutes at 300'. be sure to check on it a few times to give things a stir. overcooked (read: burnt) granola is a bummer. remove it from the oven and transfer back to the big bowl while still warm. stir in the dried cranberries and then throw it back onto the silpat to cool.
