Planning for what to buy for a new baby can be challenging: parents have a tendency to buy too many things and to be seduced by items which are cute rather than practical. My son is now seven months old, and I have put together a list of the two dozen items which, in retrospect, are most indispensable. The focus here is on practicality and utility. Some of these items may not look that great, but you will most likely need them. Of course I couldn't resist to insert a couple of fun items too!
